Masdevallia Tungurahua orchid

From quite a range to choose from, these orchids have earned their place as a firm favorite with growers in many countries. The genus numbers more than 350 species and is distributed in Mexico, Central and South America. The majority of species found in high, mountainous regions where conditions are cool, moist and humid all year around. Under such conditions the plants have no requirement for moisture storage and storage organs such as pseudobulbs are unknown in the genus.
